Hey Shinigami,

How much cheaper was it? If you look on the Yokohama website @ Yokohama Tyres | Car Tyres from Yokohama: ADVAN Neova AD08 Tyre Prices, Sizes & Reviews

It gives you the RRP when you click on the size, and most shops sell at this same price. Tell me, was John cheaper than this?

And the service John provides is top class so no complains from me

Still have R-comps and will use them when it's a full track day/sprint etc
I have AD08r 's being fitted on Thursday for daily duties and was wondering only for those last minute afternoons or evenings (cone warrior) events if they will hold up reasonably more than anything.

I believe John can offer the Yoko road legal range of tyres, but WW have exclusive distribution rights for Yoko Motorsport tyres.

They are a compromise Shane problem comes when you have pushed a bit too much you run out of grip fast, how do I know I have paint left on the wall at collie, but they will take a beating though.

ado8s been a great fun tyre on the street and lasting longer then expected, thinking 70,000 out of them. i wont go soft compound again in a hurry and will switch to a police spec/gt tyre again as reduced wear is more important to me. (our roads are cheesegraters in the country) Thinking best option is second set of larger rims for track-events with r-comps. win win

Wouldn't you want smaller rims for your r comps ? Cheaper on rubber and lighter ?
