Finally managed to get this done..

Only drama I had was that I didnt realize the projector needed to be perfectly straight, so my light cutoff was on a weird angle. But I pulled the lights back out today.

Up date time............

My projectors have been in for nearly 11 months - I always have my lights on (even during the day) so they have been running for a good number of hours.

The HID system hasn't missed a beat - the lights are just as bright now as when I first installed them.

The Plasti-dip looks as good as the day I sprayed the reflectors & the headlamps don't leak water at all.

No one has ever flashed me for my lights giving them the shits.

I've been through 6 RBT's and no one has batted an eyelid about my headlights.

Happy days - one of the best lighting mods I've ever done!

Planning to do this shortly with my other car, as factory headlights stink. Will use this guide for sure!

Only trick (if you use your lights during the day) is to make sure they are off when you start your car. I have noticed if you start up with them on it shortens their life.

I think on late model cars, they are programmed so they are delayed in their start up if you have them on when you turn your car on.

Went for a good drive last night, definitely the best mod I have done. These headlights make such an improvement on vision that I no longer require my glasses when driving at night time.

And they look so much nicer than the factory headlamps also, I think it makes the car look much newer than it actually is.

here's a picture of mine. I painted the plastic bezel black, but left the reflector housing unpainted.
