True just bit disappointed with it... Might go to Prestige Exhausts and see if they think fitting a hotdog will do anything? If not will see if they can show me one of there systems on a car and hear what it sounds like before I do anything this time..

Strange you have drone, I too have an Ultrex 3" TBE and have no drone.
Sounds awesome IMHO. I have a MY11 STi sedan.

Really.. That's interesting?? Mines only been on since Thursday... Rob did say he has had a few probs with the mufflers... Do you think that's causing a problem? Would love to hear your car then..

Give it a few weeks (or a month or so?) for the carbon to build up inside the exhaust as well. Might tone it down a touch.

as discussed in person - via sms and now on the forums - if there is an issue we will fix it...we just need to know about the issue so we can fix it.
Will send you to an exhaust shop to put it on the hoist and resolve at our cost......but when/if there is an issue we need to know about it so we can take action.

We have sold these MY11-13 systems for many years and lots of customers love the exhaust. Different strokes for different folks so it may not be for every customer - but let it settle for a week and come back to me directly with any issues or feedback for me to sort

On guys just thought I would give you an update on my exhaust...
Spoke to Rob from Ultrex and he asked to bring my car to Pete at Exhaust World. Great guy, fantastic service and really knows his shit. He replaced the faulty mufflers with a different set and made some minor adjustments to the system to fit without any stress the the pipe work. Fits perfectly now so next was to take it for a drive..
Straight away it sounded like a different car.. Idles a little quieter which I prefer, when you put you foot down you really hear the exhaust note but cruising at 100km on the freeway no drone at all now with minimal sound inside the car.. Very happy now with the system and the service from Rob at Ultrex... Would happily recommend him or let anyone interested in buying this system listen to my car 😃
