Lowered Springs

Hey guys, just wanted to get different opinions on aftermarket lowered springs. What people have fitted and past experiences of good brands.
Thanks

Lots of people use King Springs, they're easy to find and reasonably priced. Lots of height options depending on how much you value your exhaust and undercarrage remaining scrape free.

You can also get progressive rate springs, they're the silver ones here...

These get stiffer the further they are compressed, meant to give a more comfortable ride when the suspension isn't under much load but the stiffer coils come into effect under hard driving, load etc. Whiteline did them from memory, not sure who else.

As far as brands go, there's King Springs, Ebiach, Tien, H&R... STI also do Pink springs which are an upgrade.

For anything over 1" drop you'll be wanting new shock absorbers too. Koni Yellow's are awesome but they put you into coilover territory price wise.

Don't see the point in doing just springs these days with cheap coilovers available.

Scratch that, just saw a set of 30mm lowered King's Springs on ebay for $225 shipped.

Change springs without upgrading struts is not good over time

Kings, whiteline, STi with koni or Kyb struts are good start
Or find a set of STi springs with STi struts
