Default Help!

Hey guys just been driving the Wrxy and took of from the lights I hit rev limiter and the check engine light came on, it sounded fine pulled over check everything no leaks or anything it sounded fine and it was spooling fine, then I noticed that that the boost gauge isn't getting past "0" so I thought I had a boost leak but it seems fine but it doesn't feel like it's getting full boost, it's getting vacuum reading. It's getting spark, it's getting fuel, could do with a oil change which is fairly soon, thought it might of been something with the management system but I'm starting to think not cause of the boost gauge it drives fine,

I got told might be splits in the cooler pipes?

Any suggestions??
just letting it cool now

If you are getting no boost only vacuum you need to check all of your piping hitting the limiter the sudden spike in boost probably split the shit plastic y pipe or popped a hose off . Get youself a silicone hose set with a set of decent t type silicone hose clamps and replace . If not confident of doing this give Stechnic a call or MMS or whatever specalist is near you to solve said problem.

Maybe even order the hoses and clamps from someone pick them up then offer beers and steak and im sure a couple of us can come help you swap the hoses out .

It is a common thing to happen and 99.9 % sure that would be your issue . Just pull the intercooler off and inspect the pipes .

Stock boost solenoid has shit itself. They stay open when they crap out meaning your wastegate is open all the time.

But if you hit limiter id say its more of a burst line issue.

Or.... I don't know.. take it to a S-Technic instead of asking the internet? Works for me usually.
