I had a similar problem. Tried bleeding but no difference. It was the MC. Replaced it with a 2nd hand from Jap Wholesale. (bout $50 i think ) All good now

if its leaking externally you can see, brake fluid will strip paint so if its been doing it for a while the brake booster will have a noticeable line down it where the leaking fluid has dripped.
