hi guys, so recently I put a complete 06 sti driveline into my00 gc8 wrx. Since installing this I have noticed a knocking noise coming from my rear diff, in the video I have the car jacked up and just rotating one of the rear wheel back and forward. Anybody know what this clunking noise could be??

Sound like it coming from inside the diff. Yeah I got redline 75w90 gl5 gear oil in in. I can usually gear the noise on acceleration or deceleration, usually when the car rocks back and forward.

Prop shaft, what are you using? Same donor?

Is the diff r180?

yeah i am using everything from an 06 sti, inc r180 diff and shafts, box, hubs , brakes, everything.

turns out the 32mm axle nuts were slightly loose, have replaced with all new nuts and torqued up to spec
