Default GC8 MAF wires - soldered, now broken?

My GC8 has started missing and hopping like a kangaroo when coming on boost. I have to gear down and the car basically limps along. In my infinite wisdom I decided to pull out the MAF sensor to give it a clean. I unscrewed the 4 screws holding the MAF and pulled it out. Unbeknownst to me the MAF wires are soldered in place by the looks of it, and it seems like I just broke the 3 soldered joints

Does this sound right? Now what? Try to disassemble the unit and resolder or just bolt back together and hope for the best?

ViPec doesn't run MAF but a MAP sensor instead.

Replace the MAF sensor ( the full housing ) and don't pull that part apart again.
