TBE installing

hi pple, i just bought a TBE. was thinking to install it on MY02 myself. Heard that there is a sensor at the downpipe. Is that true??

If it is true, i guess i will have to install a resistor on the O2 sensor inorder to stop the ecu from throwing out a cel.

PLS advice me...

THanks

no, thats for the up-pipe

But ye its easy doing the turbo back install....

You wont throw a CEl unless u dont run a cat

how many sensor are there along the tbe??

waxdass 03-07-2006 01:19 AM

two
1 right after the turbo and 1 on the cat

sorry for the stupid question. but my downpipe is a catless one... will it afact the front sensor?

waxdass 03-07-2006 01:30 AM

Cat in the bottom ?? my sensor is just before my main cat.. if i was to remove my cat what would happen. ?

the classic shape wrxs had there sensor near turbo but bug eye onwards have them further down dont they ?? well mine is

if u remove the main bottom cat - you will get a CEL - 02 Defficiency

you have a sensor near the urbo - which is mounted on the dump pipe, and one further down near the cat

I had no CEL when I knocked my cat out
