Just a chance, has it been overfilled?
Excess should get out thru the overflow then dribble away,
you may not be able to follow the trail to see where it came from.

Hmm didn't think of that. I don't think the overflow is abve 'max' but i'll check

Its unlikely,

On the older models (GC8), the overflow has a tube that goes to under the passenger side guard, so when it overflows, its [I]way left[/I] of centre.

This looks like a leak, somewhere ;)
