2012 WRX - Sigma S32 Alarm Code - help please?

Hello all,

Just wanted to see if anyone has a full list of codes and their respective functions for the Sigma S32 alarm found in MY11+ (from recollection). I've found one or two codes separately and plenty of info on the M30 but not a full list of the codes.

I'm specifically looking for the codes the dealer uses to enable/disable the PIN entry before start (also known as 'key theft protection'). I am aware it will likely be a pain in the a$$ but there has been a rise in this kind of theft (steal keys) around here and I tend to leave my keys in my gym bag etc.

My local dealer wants to charge for it, and the dealer I bought the car from will do it for free but is just over an hour away from my place.

If anyone has a list of codes or even just the specific one I am after it would be much appreciated if you could either share or PM me.

Thanks in advance,

Grrilla

should have bought your car from the local dealer?

Thanks for the helpful response. Car wasn't bought new, local dealer had a scratched-up one with 70,000km; Newcastle dealer had pristine one with 21,000km for $7,000 less.

Also see my previous thread for the fun experience I had with the local dealer re: clutch and short-shift kit.

Thanks Soksta. I actually did see that thread in my search but somehow missed this line (think it may have been due to the way the original thread appears on my screen, quite messy!):

*17856 *013 * 0 or * 1 then #
Key Theft Protection - On/Off
NB: Only S4, 30, 32 & 34 models * 0 (off)

I guess I'll go try it and see how it goes!

UPDATE: Can confirm this works. Would just add that you need to put your PIN in before it will accept any *17856 codes, regardless of whether the car has been immobilised or not.
