I rebuilt an entire power steering pump. Replaced about 8 o rings on my GT at a cost of less than $20. Bought them from a supplier just near welshpool and kewdale road intersection. Opposite corner to Maximums.
On the sway bars... The double rose jointed end links will make the noises far worse. I just put up with the clink noises. |

Power steering issue is fixed Turned out to be the O ring.
Also we couldn't work out where the noise was coming from exactly, they think its the stock endlinks but aren't sure. The new whiteline swaybars come with grease-less bushes and that was supposed to stop the noise. I think ill live with it for now until it drives me crazy enough |

+1 for air on the system. Or could even be low fluid level. My GC8 would do that when I went full lock, turns out there was a slight leak out of one of the hoses, and fluid had leaked out.
Edit: I see you figured out the problem, I didn't read page 2. Last edited by nnemesis; 09-05-2015 at 10:48 PM. |
