Work & Tune Complete

Hey every one, took my car into Allstar Monday
to get some work and a tune done, the car was making:
Making 205hp 410nm @16psi ASG verso

Sean put on:
VF34
FMIC Process West
Silicone Intake
850cc Injectors
E85 pump
E85
Short Shifter
Fuel Pressure Reg
Process West Intake Kit
Shock Proof Gearbox Oil
& Re-tune

The Car is now making 312hp & 465nm @19psi
safe to say it pulls hard now! so happy I was only expecting 280hp max
and the front mount looks so much meaner
cheers to Sean and all the boys at Allstar great Job!
:D

Wow that's a massive increase, good numbers aswell.

Lol at 205whp, just for comparison the car made 218whp on the evo-r dyno. Could only imagine how much bigger the difference is once you start making higher numbers

JRecardo 09-05-2015 10:58 AM

Fantastic results, congrats. E85 was the best mod I've ever done.

Senna95 09-05-2015 01:26 PM

thanks guys very stoked! dident think it would make that kind of power oce she hits 4400 she is a rocket ship I can only imagine what drivers with 450hp are experiencing hahaha! thanks for the feedback!

Thanks man here's the graph

That's awesome mate! Car must be sweet to drive now in comparison. It's making some nice numbers early in the graph and looks super responsive. Top stuff!

RJ999 09-05-2015 01:47 PM

Good numbers dude...be awesome to drive now
what model/year car is it btw?

thanks man! yeah the difference is unbelievable feels like a different car almost haha !

Senna95 09-05-2015 02:06 PM

does anyone know if with those numbers my cars gearbox (5spd) or engine (stock unopened) might go or should be alright??

Goosey 09-05-2015 02:54 PM

I imagine your gearbox would be the weakest link. The 5 speeds weren't all that good until the 2008 WRX I believe.

As Goosey said your gear box might be the weaker link, but should be no issues with your engine, E85 is a wonderful thing. I still have a 5 speed with the figures in my sig and don't granny my car around, but it is an 08. I hope your 5 speed treats you the same :D

haha I sure hope so! not ready for an STI 6speed just yet hehe

RJ999 09-05-2015 04:57 PM

Until a head gasket goes following track sessions/events....

...just kidding it'll be fine for some time, depending on how hard you drive it

Goosey 09-05-2015 05:45 PM

There are always cheaper options available, but it really depends on whether you want to bite the Bullet and get it over with, or get something that will be enough.

The 08+ box I mentioned will bolt up, should handle the power without a hiccup, and cost 1/3rd as much.

The 6 speed is a more long term solution for sure if you're going to go beyond what you have now. It handles power like a champ, however weighs a fair bit more.

If it's not a daily, wait until it blows. After the previous owner of my car fried the original 'box, I swapped it out for a 4.44 5 speed out of an early GD model and have had this now for 8 or so years running from 200hp all the way past 300.

Satie12 09-05-2015 07:23 PM

Definetly got power down in earlier RPM dude! E85 is great only wish there were more fuel stations selling it especially towards the hills :) Something I would love to do later on down the track!

5% is not that much of a difference really. The way some people talk about the hub dyno you would think it was a 20% excess reading.

yeah man hard to find E85, but deffs a good mod!

Kremer930 10-05-2015 08:03 PM

Did you go flex sensor or just a straight map?

Senna95 11-05-2015 10:08 PM
Did you go flex sensor or just a straight map?
Just straight map man
Don't have an upgraded ECU to run a flex fuel sensor

Kremer930 12-05-2015 07:19 PM

2007 should easily be able to cope with a Zeitronix alcohol content sensor.

seagull 12-05-2015 08:13 PM

If I recall Brett it's 2008 on >

Kremer930 12-05-2015 09:51 PM

The carbibles flex fuel setup works from 2001 onwards.
2007 should easily be able to cope with a Zeitronix alcohol content sensor.
what are the up sides and down sides of this flex sensor?

seagull 13-05-2015 09:37 PM
The carbibles flex fuel setup works from 2001 onwards.
With Romraider only and 16 bit ecu ? No lic re flash tune unless it's 08 on is how I can see it. Happy to be corrected
