Fitting EGT probe to factory exhaust manifold
 

Hey people,
Wondered if anyone is or has run an EGT probe in the factory Exhaust manifold where the Narrow band normally screws in. My New Haltech uses my Wideband so I don't require the Narrow band.

The position seems to be a good place to get an accurate reading. I was going to use an O2 bung Bolt and tap the centre to accept the EGT probe. The probe is for an Omori Gauge .[ATTACH]14886[/ATTACH]

I did have unequal headers on but have since gone back to factory Sti Ra ones .

Anyone done or used this position Pros / Cons
