Default CAI Selection 09 Grimmspeed :O

Just when I had thought I had thought I've abandon thoughts for CAI changed my mind once again

What really made me rethink or get back into thinking doing it down the track was this + Hectic noises from my mates wrx

GrimmSpeed Cold Air Intake - Subaru 08-14 WRX/STI, 09-13 Forester XT - GrimmSpeed

Best engineered CAI for wrx/sti 08-14!?

So the contenders AEM +Prefilter so its not water intake ?

K&N typhoon (Not fussed possible Maf fuck up I know how to oil filters)

And of course The grimm speed

Which would you buy and why? Dont tell me to keep stockbox.

Yeah Yeah I know its not like turbo selection thread and its just CAI so who give us a shit cant really go wrong with either one I still like talking about this.

IMO the third one looks to be the cleanest install. Whose going to be tuning it?

I don't own one but from what I've heard & read the AEM setup is one of the best in regards to setting up/tuning etc..

I upgraded from a blitz to the AEM and love it. No issues with turbulence in front of the MAF. With a fully recirc BOV it sounds like a vent to atmosphere.

Yeah, I get a few comments about the dash mat, it's a stock item from a place in Armadale...info here.

No issues with water so far, been through a few deep puddles at speed. It's fairly well protected, being in front of the wheel, with all the block off panels etc.
