VF35 on 2.5L
I've read on quite a few forums (this one included) people suggesting that the VF35 is not suitable for 2.5L engines due to it's small P15 exhaust housing, however as with all forum opinions I often wonder if the person posting this has solid information backing them up.
As a result i have spent much time trying to find definitive answers. Can anyone help me with either a size comparison of exhaust housings between the standard TD04 and the P15, or with a Dyno sheet of a VF35 on a 2.5L or any other relevant documents? The only solid information i have found thus far is this greek website which actually has a very promising looking dyno sheet (if the information is accurate) https://translate.google.com.au/translate?hl=en&sl=el&u=http://www.e-tuners.com/gr/tuning/Subaru/subaruiwrx2.5LMY06-stage1.html I am interested in finding this out as i am looking at putting a 35 on my 06 wrx... i'm not chasing big HP, just want it nice and responsive with a bit more pull than the standard car. |
Put VF34....

It will work fine, I mean its bigger than a td04. It just wont be as good as a bigger one like vf34. This is 2015, people have done these cobos to death now. Go with what works. You're not inventing anything with a vf35.

I am sure i am not the 1st to do this... just hoped to hear from someone else who had to see what results they found.
Nevermind... mods please delete yet another useless thread |
