Default Cruise control main switch?

Hi,

Recently got a 2006 sti a few weeks ago, haven't made an introduction post yet.

My question is where is my cruise control main switch? I clearly have a cruise control module but there is no way to turn it on. What is the point in removing something like this?

My cruise control turns on via a push button next the brand pad
Then I just use the small lever behind steering wheel to set speed

Hmmmmm is that a I/C spray switch next to the brand as that's the same place where my cruise control on/off button is

Pull that cover off. From memory it needs one "pop screw" undone near the door jamb and it should just pop off.

See if there is a plug there and if there is, try suss a cruise control switch.

Unsure why it was removed. Perhaps a question to the previous owner.

These are the plugs I see, as you can see there's something plugged into the blank and the switch for the non existent fog lights has nothing plugged in. There's no way to actually plug any of these two so I personally do not know what they are. Any advice on what I would need to buy and which one, if any is cruise control?

On other news my top radiator hose split which is unfortunate, but a good reason to upgrade to silicon hoses.

I'd be choosing a factory hose over silicon.

There have been threads in the past that show them pitting, disregard if others can recommend quality hoses though.

I'll open mine up today and have a look at the wiring. Should be similar for all GD's I would hope.

Guessing the wiring harness won't fit into the switch. Perhaps the switch failed an this was a cheap option for them.
