Default 235/40/18 on 18x10 rims

Is having 235/40/18 ok on the following rims 18x10? for a stretch look or minimum 245/40/18. Because I don't want it to rub the suspension strut in the front with the width 245.

cheers

235s on 10inch rims is a hella-retarded fitment. Probs best to go ask a nissan forum.

Just no. 235 is well out of recommended spec for that width. The minimum for a 10" wide rim is actually 255, not even 245.

For what it's worth I have 245 tyres with 18x9 +40 wheels and I manage to clear the front strut.

I ran 255 on a 9" rim, I wouldn't be wanting to put less than 265 on a 10" rim

265-275 is ideal, but 255 just sneaks in as the minimum on charts I've seen. I wouldn't want to do it either.

285 is an even better fit. i hate nothing more than seeing rim poke past the tyre.

im putting 295s on my 10 and 10.5 inch rims

235/40 ....

265 onwards is your best bet. 255 maybe, depending on different brand but still pushing it:
