Changing alarm system

Did anyone experience any problems after disconnecting the Brant security system and changing it to another alarm system like autowatch or laserline? isit possible to remove the system and resell it? I rang Subaru and they won't remove it for me because it's a factory thing yadda yadda yadda. Damn Subaru electricians. Can anyone recommend a place that knows how to remove the security system?

i'd consult your insurance company before you do anything. being the factory fitted system, they may not like the idea of you removing it..

Yeh....will have to do that. Should be fine if I replace it with another alarm system that has been approved by insurance companies right?
