PCV leak, easy fix?
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I've come across a PCV leak, seems to be mostly coming form that stem like part. Is that just a simple hose replacement to fix or is there actually a part i'll need to buy? the right hand hose to the PCV valve will be an easy replacement so no worries there. Just don't want to go pulling it apart without having the parts to fix it.
Also I've heard of people blocking off the PCV system? anyone know if its worth while or not, seems like a common place for oil leaks. Cheers |

Cheers[/QUOTE] Should just be a case of replacing hoses and hose clamps, retaining that plastic 'Y' piece. Give everything a good degrease too. That style hose clamp loses its spring over time and the rubber goes hard with the oil exposure. |
Get the replacement plastic piece too. Mine was so brittle it cracked when taking it off the block.

Sounds easy enough, cheers
