99 GC8 Not Starting/Not Cranking.
 

Hi All, I am new here in an attempt to figure out why I can't crank my engine over.

So far I have Replaced the starter motor as I thought this was the issue. It clicks and the solenoid engages however the bugger wont crank over.

All I get is a click from the starter motor. There is power to all electrics. It will start by push start only.

Can anyone shed a bit of light as to what might be the issue?

Battery?

As described, exactly what happens when battery is flat.
There may be enough energy in the battery for lights, but not enough to power the starter motor.
Solution- put the battery on charge for 12h, or you may need to replace it.

Not the battery lads, Found the issue was the 150 Amp fuse that runs between the battery positive and the starter motor had blown. Put a new one in and away she went.
