Default Cold tyre pressures for AD08R for street use.

I just had a set of Yokohama AD08Rs fitted. They aro a e 245/40/18 fitted on 18x8.5" wheels on a 02 bugeye sti.

OEM tyre pressures in psi are 33F and 29R. I just wanted to hear people's experiences with these tyres and the cold tyre pressures they run on the street for optimal tyre patch contact and wear.

When I got mine fitted I was told 39 psi on all 4. That's for street use. On the tyre itself I think it says 41psi max.

Yep.

John Fowler advised me to run 35-36 psi all around in my betty, and target 32-34psi hot at the track. They have a very strong sidewall so they can handle lower pressures easily.

At the drags I drop them to 28-30psi and they slip then grip just the right amount.
