Trust turbos
 

i have been looking on ebay and have found a turbo kit for my car
the kit is a trust t518 z 400hp they say it is a straight bolt on turbo
like the ihi vf ones

have any of use had anything to do with this turbo and what would the
turbo be like in comparison with the vf 39 that i have on my 2.5 ltr now

it is very similar to an FP 20G

They are on ebay for $2000 plus $270 for postage from japan is this a good deal
for this turbo kit?

That isnt too bad....a tiny bit more than an FP, but it is a good brand of turbo so you know its going to be reliable..

who make FP turbos are they any good and how much would they be fitted to the car

They are excellent turbos.

autobarn sell the trust kit for 2399AUS$

give them a ring.

One thing to look at - I think the t518z comes in oil cooled and water/oil cooled. Make sure you get the right one.
