Ferrodo 2500 brake pads

I am looking at putting a set of DBA4000 rotors on my 06 WRX with Ferrodo 2500 pads?? Has anybody have any experince with these pads i.e. noise or exsesive rotor ware?

good performance, fairly harsh on rotors (but what do u expect), warms fairly quick for performance, little fade, little dust.

I have been doing a couple of superkana's & stuff, and plan to do a lot more as well as hill climbs so I want the performance but are they a too much of a compromise, or is there somthing better??

One of the better all dual use pads. But if you are serious, buy DS3000's and fit them for track days and then run something cheap day to day like untimates or TS2000 ferodos.

Don't waste your money on 4000's....they crack. You've invested a lot of money in your car so spend a bit extra and buy DBA 5000's...much, much better.
The Ferodo 2500's are a good all round pad like Blaise says.
I've used this combo in competition for the last 4 years without any dramas.

5000s have this hidious clickin noise lately
i had em, sent em back to dba, got 4000s instead as they couldnt find the prob, somefin to do with the 2 metals of the top hat and rotor rubbing under heat, anyhoo

i run 4000s and 2500s does the job for street and track :)
