2012 WRX Premium HU

Hi folks, have traded in my 2003 WRX for a 2012 WRX Blue Premium edition. Looking to get rid of the HORRID head unit which doesn't even play BT audio. I've tried searching here and online in other places and can't find anyone who has swapped in an aftermarket HU but retained use of the factory controls on the steering wheels. Anyone know how to do this? I've seen it done in other cars. Imagine its a special harness (if one exists).

Can't cope with the lack of streaming music in 2017....

While I didn't have the Premium, just the normal run of the mill 2011 WRX, I managed to get what was called a Master Harness which plugged directly into the new head unit and into the existing harness behind the dash.

Was simply a plug and play affair and the controls on the steering wheel worked straight away without any issue.

Cost me around $140 from memory delivered.
Can find them on eBay or speak to any of the local car audio places around Perth and they should be able to assist.

This ^^

Look at anything Pioneer/Alpine, ISO harness and steering wheel controls can be retained.
