Logical Hat On:
IMO depends on how long you're going to keep it for as to what route you take. Forum Hat On: Get this, build up from there. https://www.iagperformance.com/IAG-W...g-eng-1610.htm

Since you're in Sydney, have you spoken to MSR for their opinion?
How about Rising Sun Subaru option 2 block closed decked, mild head port, ARP 625 studs, gaskets, oil and water pumps etc. |

Hi everyone, quick status update on this.
I ended up biting the bullet and it's currently in getting an engine rebuild. Details: - Forged Pistons - Forged Conrods - Upgraded Head Studs - Race Bearings (Main & Conrod) - Complete Gasket & Seal Kit incl. Head Gaskets - Cylinder Head Servicing & Machining Work Also decided to take the opportunity to replace the clutch, throwing in an Exedy HD. Once again thanks for those that provided their thoughts! Looking forward to getting the car back. |
