Nah I changed the oil less than a couple of years ago but if it ain't broke why fix it, still got the used rear brake pads and same brake fluid from 14yrs ago.

afm is a common problem on this model, especially if its ever had an oiled k&n filter on it, it kills them

Thanks for the reply. I'm back from work in a week so I'll clean it or replace it. Good to know its a common problem though and it's not just a complete shot in the dark.
