Default GC8 STI lower control arm pins

So from my previous thread, I went to get some STI lower control arms fitted but found that the ones I have are "too long" by about 10mm and the install was aborted.

I've done a load of google work, and found that the arms themselves are to suit GC8, but the pins are too long, they seem to have a "bulge" which is about 10mm, and of all the Google work, I've not found any pins similar to what I have on my control arms?

Would anyone know where/what these pins are from?

And secondly, where would I source a correct set of pins from? (all Google work has found that its arms with pins for sale).

A couple of pics attached. The first pic is from the interwebs, and is what I find all about the place.

The next lot of pics are the arms and pins I have.

Any thoughts, opinions, and suggestions would be appreciated!!

Find someone with a lathe and have them turn the pins down a bit shorter

No one is gonna sell just the pins by them selves unless the arms they come from happen to be bent/damaged or otherwise un-sellable. So unless your prepared to buy another set of complete arms. Then buying your way out of it isnt a solution.

But, If you did want to buy a set of arms with good pins. I just happen to have a set of GD alloy arms forsale.

Edit. Also have some FXT LCA joints. Which have nearly identicle geometry to the ALK style joints.

Got them from a mate, bought a few things at once, and these were part of it.
