Default Wheel alignment needed?

Hi Everyone,
So today when fitting my new strut brace I snapped one of the top hat studs. I've removed the coilover and got the stud out, but have 2 questions.

1, where can I get a new stud from? I was thinking a fastener supplier maybe?

2, do I need to get a wheel alignment after I reinstall the coilover?

Thanks

....probably or a workshop
2, do I need to get a wheel alignment after I reinstall the coilover? ...good idea to have it checked.

Thanks

Thanks nauli
I just wasn't sure about the wheel alignment, because I haven't made any adjustment and my coilovers are only height and damper adjusting I thought it could be a straight in and out job.

If your strut top is a non-adjustable type you shouldn't need an alignment. So long as you paid attention to the position the camber bolt on the lower strut mounts is in you should be ok.

But I would be inspecting your strut top closely for any damage seeing as you strangled a bolt to death already!

make sure you get a bolt to the matching or stronger tensile strength.
There should be a number on the head of the bolt

Those little strut top bolts only need around 35nm on them when tightening.

I went to heaps of places and just couldn't get a replacement stud. In the end I just ended up using a high tensile steel bolt(8.8) and just tightening the nut down nice and firm.
I got the wheel alignment done and on the rears I'm at -2.41 and -1.29 so I've ordered a pair of camber bolts and in a few months will get another alignment with the camber bolts installed.
