just a stupid question
hey hows it going.
i could get an ecutek 3 with a really good price(2nd hand). and its coming off of a 2002 sti. the thing is, mine is a 2004 sti but the owner said it would fit the my04. how is this posible? an old ecu to be installed on a later car? any help ? thanks |
off topic,
Just wondering if your ride happens to be black with prodrive spoiler and parked at curtin uni near the child care centre today. :D |
yep. havnt washed it for almost 2 months and still counting... :D which one is yours?theres always a blue rex at that carpark.maybe thats yours?
anyways, back on topic, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks |
ecutek 3 are tuned specifically to the car, on a dyno.
if you get it, you would need to put it on a dyno and have it retuned. again, i would be checking with maximum motorsport or race torque (ecutek dealers) and asking if the chip will go in your ecu... last thing you want is a dead motor due to completely wrong tune for your car. |
