Reducing Bugeye Lag

Hi guys, wanting to know what would reduce the awful lag in 1st gear on my bugeye. I find once I hit second the car runs nice. What sort of gear would I need to reduce this lag ? Or am i stuck with it!?

a good ECU and a good tuner will pretty much wipe this out
add an exhaust to that and it should have very little lag

ecu or echaust or angle mount.

or everything above.

any recommendations for ppl who have added an ECU to their bugeyes as to which is ideal for this model? also who fitted would be great :) Also rough price would be fantastic :D !

I use an M800.

Did have a link which I can highly reccommend.

But if you dont know how far you are going to take your car, best spend the money upfront and get a MOTEC.

Just by going from a link to a MOTEC I got another 30kw at the hubs, both tunes for each ecu were done by good perth tuners.
