New injector installation
Hi guys,
Just a quick one on injector installation! I have recently installed a new walbro fuel pump into a MY2000 rex with not much trouble, I,am now looking at installing larger injectors to give it a bit more fuel flow to the engine, after a re-tune, re-map. Looking at the heads and the position of the exsisting injectors it,s looking a bit tricky to install has anyone installed a set themselves? Any installation tips would be great guys.Cheers. Kindest regards Nails |

Side feeds are really easy to change. Just take off the injector caps via the two bolts. And then the injector just pops out using like MR PSI said a flat head screwdriver. Rinse and Repeat in reverse to put the new ones back in.
Bleed the fuel lines though before you pop the injectors, otherwise the fuel pressure in the lines will make your day very smelly and flammable when the injectors "pop" out of place. |
