99 WRX Injectors

Hi guy

Just wanting to know your thoughts on what fuel injectors I should run.

Ive got a 99 WRX and in the near future I will be installing:
VF34
Process west TMIC
Link G4X Ecu

I already have a Walbro 255 fuel pump.
Ive seen guys say that you want to run STi pink injectors but I'm unsure if they are compatible with my version 6 WRX.

Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

STi Pink injectors aren't directly compatible with the MY99 manifold.
The "pink" injectors people are referring to are from MY01 and up.
Pre 01 are "side feed" injectors, 01+ are "top feed" referring to fuel delivery method through the injectors and rail setup.
Unfortunately, there are WAY more top feed injector options for EJ's than side feed.

3 options really.

1. Purchase and fit an 01-07 manifold, make sure it comes with fuel rails. You can then fit any top feed injector from Factory pinks, decaps, ID, Bosch and so on.

2. Try and find larger side feeds. I know DeatschWerks used to make them. I imagine others do also. I'm almost certain that Nissan RB or SR injectors fit. 740cc is a common size for them in Nismo form. Don't think the plugs are the same though.

3. There's some conversion kits out there now from reputable brands like Roger Clark Motorsport and Radium out there. I've never had any personal experience with them though.

99/20 has 440cc injectors, that enough to make 220kw atw provide you use a good fuel reg, side feed that will fit are maroon type 550cc sill side feed.. there are even larger side feed as stated in previous comment, I use top feed injectors 2,400cc siemens.. results plenty of power but very pour fuel consumption..
