Post which ecu for my liberty??

I am starting to look for an aftermarket ecu for my 91 liberty.
still running standard turbo for another year or so but has zorst, ebc and fmic.
so nothing super hitech is needed so no teejay MoteC is out of the question.
due to budget i have narrowed it down to either a link, Power FC or Microtech.
I want to be able to get a good tuner in perth to set it up with the outcome i want to be more reliable power and better fuel consuption.
any info ir links appreciated!

I would go Apexi PFC... Use the pre96 WRX Apexi model. Its plug and play and very good value.

I would suggest a Link. Lots of tuners are familiar with it and it's very good value.

Have you tried the VOS Chip yet for your current ECU? I have heard many good things about it. Its not as good as a custom tuned ECU, but its a huge step up from the standard ECU fuel maps. It might be a good solution for you based on the mods you have. Its only around $300

im currently running standard ecu with a powerchip 98ron chip.... this is similar in spec to vos so i dont see much point in changing from this to vos hence id rather start looking into aftermarket ecu's......by sounds of things there are many people able to tune links in perth..... is there many that work with the pfc.......
reason for wanting to upgrade is the turbo upgtrade will be happening later in future, even if i wait and do them together i still need to make a choice as to the ecu and available tuners

As I said Jessie, Link is probably your best option, as pretty much every workshop who tunes Subarus can tune a link. That said, PowerFC is also another very good option, I'd choose it over a Lunk, but you'll be more limited to who will tune it. Wouldn't waste my time with Microtech, I looked into this option on my last car, most workshops over here won't touch it.

At the end of the day, better to choose your Tuner, not your ECU
