EJ207 Short blocks

Hi all, my EJ20R converted to single turbo has done a big end. Want to put an EJ207 short block in it.

It's a v2 STI computer that has a prova chip in it (came with the halfcut), I have a Power FC, boost control kit and datalogit to go in in at some stage as well

My heads have been checked and reco'd

There is a lot of posts on here about 207 short blocks, mostly from 10 or so years ago, where this is the part number for 01-07 STI 10103AB470. Now there is a new short block part number for Jap 2018+ RA versions 10103AC510. The descriptions say it has thicker liners, but still not forged pistons.

For the Headgasket thickness from all my research i need a cometic 1mm gasket to keep the compression ration as original and not upset the current ECU.

Can anyone confirm the CR of the newer short block is the same as the old one? so therefore using the same head gaskets

You say the heads have been reconditioned.
This may mean that some material has been ground/shaved off, so assume the CR is different.

Especially with the amount of work you are doing on the motor, would advise a re-tune, if this is possible with your ECU.
