My old man has a MY06 Liberty (non-turbo) and want to do a few performance mods to it.. can anyone point me in the right direction to some threads relating to this? Did a few searches on here but no luck.

I would consider an exhaust/extractors, intake and Verso tune.

would probably go pretty good

nah its the 2.5... still go down a similar path

be it the 4 or 6cyl version....

before you go crazy on the engine..

its already got new shocks which are actually pretty good. I would recommend some whiteline lowered springs, strut braces, and thicker swaybars especially on the rear.

upgrade the rotors and brake pads...

get it turning and stopping better, and it will immediately be alot more fun to drive.

next..

if 4cyl - 2.25 cat back high flowing exhaust.
if 6cyl - 2.5 cat back etc...

smooth 3inch intake pipe with CAI. Pod inside the guard with a pipe feeding from the front air dam.

tuned length extractors - lose the any possiblity of nice boxer rumble but a good power up

Verso / EcuTek tune (go for the Verso)

Deep Pockets?

Aggressive cams with higher lift and duration.

Got deeper pockets?

Custom Quad throttle body. NA ITBs = porn
New ECU...
