rough idle on a new MY07 WRX

Has anyone experienced rough idling from a new MY07 WRX ?

It idles smoothly then becomes rough (you can feel it in the cabin) and after a few seconds it idles smoothly

to meet emissions most likely, get the afr's checked you'll probably find it leans out to 16:1 when its getting lumpy

Yeah, mines the same, not really bad though but you can notice it every now and again.
I think it's normal.

I thought it was a problem at first but I think it's normal

I noticed the same problem in my 06 wrx. When I took it in for a service, the put some upper engine cleaner in, and it doesn't seem to happen anymore. Although they did say it's normal for this to happen.

I took my wrx for it's 5K service last week and they ran the upper engine cleaner through it and they reset the computer as they claimed it hadn't learnt properly.

The engine ran smoother but it is still doing the same thing.

They also recommended that I drive the car harder (ie high speeds to avoid carbon build up etc).
