PO 230 CEL Code
 

Hi guys if anyone is still getting around here, would love any help if anyone can please.

I have a 2006 STI with mods and tune, been fine with no problems for years and now its decided to throw up a check engine light with the code PO230.

It’s a generic code that comes with fuel system so from what I can find out it’s either fuel pump, fuel relay, fuel control module or wiring in between.

When the car is driven it chugs sometimes and if revs get to low will stall, other times drives fine and will give full boost.

Has anyone come across this and what have you found. I’ve never spared any expense on this car but it’s always had things fixed without guessing what the problem is. This one has got me stumped and just don’t want to throw unnecessary parts at it and waste money on things I don’t need.
