Default Turbo exhaust housing / dump pipe

Can any body lend me an old turbo exhaust housing for a couple of days?
Prefer Vf 35/43 or similar. I want to modify my RMS dump pipe slightly and it would be good to have something as a jig to work with.
The RMS dump is made from 3" S/S tube but at the turbo side has a piece of 2.5" pushed in and a piece extended to act as a splitter. I was thinking of removing the 2.5" piece of tube and just welding a new splitter in.
Anybody have any comments about this?
Anyone have any dump pipes lying around that I can have a look at while we are at it as well?
I'll post some pics up of the current dump soon
Al

Now why on earth would you want to modify a design which is generally regarded as the best & most proven splitter/venturi around....copied by many others???

Hi, I realise that it is a very good design, I just wondered if it would be worth making the turbo outlet side a genuine 3" rather 2.5" and the splitter is only 19mm long to suit a TD04 I had originally and the VF43 apparently needs to 27mm according to MSR.
Happy to be corrected or leave it as it is.... just thought for an hour with the TIG I may be able to make it a little better.
Just waiting on the charger and I'll post a pic.

Because nothing is perfect and a little R&D never hurt anyone. Just because you've been told it's the best available doesn't automatically mean it is.

I *may* have a P18 housing off a VF28 laying around in my garage. Let me know if you dont have any luck finding a VF3x housing.

Here is a pic of the dump. My thinking is if I remove the 2.5" pipe insert completely and reweld a splitter back in I can effectively increase the internal diameter by 3.2mm and get the correct height for the splitter while I am at it.
Any comments from the gurus appreciated.

How come the section to the left is blocked off? When your wastegate opens the hot air smashes into that steel wall there.

Mine has been done so that i've got a pipe that passes through - But is still seperate from the main section.

Hmmm...the RMS version is slightly different to the MMS/Butler one...(used to be the same). From memory the MMS/Butler doesn't have a full pipe inserted, rather just an arc so as not to decrease the exhuast diameter.

Yes it hits the steel wall and runs down and merges into the mainstream about 2 " away.
Can someone show me a pic of the Butler / MMS one (mine is about 4 yrs old)

port the bejesus out of it while its out, and yeah extend that tounge into housing as far as it can go, the tounge should curve around and almost touch the turbine exit.
