Car was idling fine in the garage and then....
Car was idling fine in the garage and then as I adjusted the position of the link lambda meter (small box and cord going under the dash), the car just turned off and the Link hand controller went blank and dark.
Tried to restart the car and the lights, stereo, indicators and starter motor all worked fine. Car cranked and cranked and nothing happened. The link was showing as being off and the fuel pump was not on at all. So its basically as if the power to the ECU has dissappeared or the ECU has just died spontaneously. Any ideas of a Fuse or anything obvious I might check. I tried looking at all the fuses in the box in the engine bay and nothing was broken. Any ideas to test if the ECU has power? I have a multimeter but no idea which wire to test. |

Roll your car down the street. If it does 3000rpm in 1st gear, the ECU is fucked. If it does 4000rpm, then the ECU is fine. |
