If there's nothing wrong with your 5sp leave it alone and spend the money on other stuff. By the sounds of the way you drive and use the car a strengthened gearbox will be a waste of money.

+1 for Konis 8610-1351 Sport front and 8610-1352 Sport rear Only other shocks Id look at are Bilstien B8 or the adjustable KYB AGX . Had all 3 and Konis were defiantly the best all-round and good...
