Hello guys, was just curious what you guys where up to, I personally stay away from Ebay, been ripped of once is enough.
Anyway I bought myself a Drift Innovation HD170 http://www.driftinnovation.com/hd170-action-camera
which set me back $359 ( on offer with free battery upgrade and a free t-shirt.

I had a look at the Gopro motorsport and actually the cameras seem all the same, only different attachments for different purposes. motorsport, surf etc..

The Gopro motorsport camera has 2 versions, the old std def one and the new 1080p HD one, there is also the cheaper 960 camera some sellers are palming off with all the attachments as motorsport versions and they only have def of 960p.

The ebay seller listed in the link in post 7 has given a price of $225 USD per unit has based on a 5 purchase so not much saving there.
The roll bar mount is $29.99 USD. He has suggested savings on combined postage. What are your thought re this and any other concerns. I will keep looking though.

That price isn't much more than his price so its probably the best you'll get but most sellers who sell things close to cost always charge a lot for shipping to cover the loss.

I've sent of a dealer application and if the prices are good then I'll go ahead with something.

Also don't forget over 5 units at that price will be over $1k aud and incur 20% import duties/taxes.

I was aware of the customs obligations so if it went ahead I would have got them to combine 2, 2 and a single and sent to different addresses and receivers eg JDM style and me and another PWRX member.

JDMSTYLE how are you going with your dealer application??

Generally when you post up in the group buy section you already have a supplier, deal and price to give people otherwise it will go nowhere like this one is so far.

I haven't heard anything from GoPro yet and if I do and there is some good prices then I'll post them up or do another thread, at this stage I'm leaving this thread in your hands as you are the one who initiated this thread and should either keep it going with confirmed deal pricing which would be awesome or ask to have it locked and removed otherwise it's a bit of a waste as there is no set deal or anything for people to commit to.

I hope you choose to continue with a confirmed deal and pricing.
