These will never replace or be used as a normal video camera. Not good indoors or anywhere with artificial light or low light. They are absolutely fantastic for sticking to your car at trackdays and cruises etc. Or like I have done, buying a headstrap and wearing it when I go kayak fishing to capture that special moment. But never in these instances will you need a LCD screen as you aren't looking at it or holding it.

The only time I can think that it would be handy for an LCD screen is if you snorkel or scuba dive and want to take this underwater (works very well from experience) and see what you are filming. I just point and shoot and have never had an issue.

I was actually thinking more for people on the track days, drags or cruises to review what they have recorded. This would save carrying a laptop around. The battery idea is a good one though and I will look into this also.

Everyone, just to remind you of the title, this is a expression of interest only. I only really was initially thinking of 5 people for the buy & have 9 already. I still have to get further discounts from the supplier & will not find this info out until mid week. I will do my best to help everyone out though. First things first, you wont review/delete things after you've recorded them until you've got home, as when you do track days and cruises etc you simply dont have time. If you have a 32gb card this will far outlast even 2 battery loads worth of recording so better to review/edit/delete once you are home.
Secondly, the china spec SD cards, what class did they say they are? The higher the class number, the faster the transfer speed. Trust me when you are transferring 30 GB of video it's much better to be faster
