I guess when you stop building things, sack everyone, stop a few big events and keep taxing the state hard you can end up with a nice surplus.

Still trying to fathom out how if you have such a big surplus, surely using a less than a few percent to encourage tourism shouldn't be a problem?

build overpasses on reid highway, and other highways...

as anyone that uses the new roe highway will know..
thats how a road should be, no stupid lights!

yeah reid hwy drives me crazy.. especially being single lane grrr

Yup, despite the amount of roadworks we seem to deal with, it amazes me that most highways and the freeway only seem to have 1 lane that goes the whole length without having to weave and change lanes.
