Fuckin A to the home owners. Some cunt comes into my house with a gun or a knife and only one of us is leaving alive. I don't care if they try to run, noone is coming back for a second go at my family.

Nope. Using equal or lesser force. Providing the person that was hit with the machette was weilding and firing the shotgun, then he obviously used a lesser force in self defense. I dont think he would win in any court.
