Yes this little Golf Cabrio does have full Escort Cosworth 4X4 running gear.

Its tuned to stage 3 spec which is 330 BHP.

It has the Cossie power steering but with a quick rack (2 turns lock to lock).

Standard Cossie brakes all round.

Group 'N' Cossie gearbox.

Standard Cossie rear axle & limited slip diff (although its slightly narrowed, 1 inch in total).

The car has Full Dark Blue Recaro Leather (imported from Germany).

A Genuine VW power hood has been fitted.

The later 'Clipper' bumpers & body kit have been fitted (genuine VW).

It has genuine VW electric window mechanisms fitted from a 'Rivage' Golf Cabrio.

It has a set of 16 inch alloys.

It has a Clifford Thatcham 1 Remote Alarm fitted which works the central locking & is certificated.

The main Cossie conversion was done by a professional motorsport coversion company.

I have had this car for 10 years & i have upgraded it the spec its at now during this time.

It has been featured in three magazines, including 'Fast Car', a copy of these go with the car.

It has a full photographic build history.

It has every MOT from new.

The mileometer was zero'd when the Cossie conversion was done & its still only done less than 10k miles now, i just do a few hundred miles a year in it.

The bodywork is virtually mint, it has had no paintwork (other that the new bumpers & kit) in the 10 years that i've owned it.

It had the Cylinder head gasket done last year & the head was skimmed at that time.

It has a Sony CD player with an American amp & nice speakers, although the engine plays the best tunes!

The car still looks like a Golf with wheels, even the exhaust i've kept discrete, untill you hit the power & then all hell breaks loose! It does not wheel-spin (well maybe in the wet), it just picks up & goes.

Ive never been brutal enough with it to make it do a 3 sec 0-60 but i've seen a 300 BHP Escort Cosworth do it so it certainly should be possible for it to do around that, & its geared to do 160 MPH flat out.

Its the only one like it in the world so get bidding & grab yourself an amazing car that shocks everyone that sees it, especially in other supposedly 'fast' cars!

The car is advertised locally & i reserve the right to remove it.

That chassis would flex more than 12 russian gymnast on smack.

Would be awesome in a straight line but I dont think it would be too good through the twisties though.

Cheers

By the way, needs roof racks to be truly stealth

Can't have roof racks when you don't have a fixed roof...

I'd be worried how ridged the chassis is with that sort of power and no roof.

Be fun in a straight line but, thats for sure!
