boost increase to 12psi
i posted in a non-car related forum about my car....ie photo, and a short desc. (it was a thread asking)
heres my ride MY02 WRX It only has a 3" TBE and a Apexi boost gauge at the moment, getting a verso tune/flash next month which should boost up the power some
to which i got the reply.......
Why bother with a tune? when you get more modifications done to the car, you're just going to need a retune. You might get 5kw (if that) max out of tuning a stock motor that the stock ecu can handle fine. At least up the boost to 12psi or something? Make your $500+ for tuning useful
Isnt it amazing that people always feel the need to add their 2c, and at the same time, prove they dont know what they are talking about. (I fully admit I dont know alot about cars, but try to refrain from acting like I do) I had a bit of a chuckle to myself about the "up boost to 12psi" part :D Figure its a waste of my time pointing out that at stock, its 13.5psi hehe |
lol@5kw gain for $990
$198 for each kw |
well to be fair he isnt 100% wrong, just 99%
he's right with the 'your just going to need a retune' with more mods. but you never said you would get more mods you should though :) |
dont refrain from pointing out where he's wrong, point it out! Justify your decision and make him look like a tool in the process! ;)

Typical fucking net parrot.
Shoot him. |
Hahaha... What a loser.
Seriously flame him out for 'upping the boost' to lower than stock levels. Also a tune with just a TBE zorst will net some massive improvements. 5kW hahahhaa |
Nissan nerd for sure wind i up to 12psi (loser) make sure you let him know
|
