Youll black out and prolly die going that fast!
into the atmosphere..just picking hairs here but maybe they take you to just outside the atmosphere, like satelight spec...theres no air up there...hence no resistance....you may well be doing 2500mph, but would feel like you're staying still...

i dont know, maybe :o

i was always shit at physics.

Ok the space shuttle has a hissy fit and explodes cause a few ceramic tiles fell off. Now imagine a slight imperfection in that suit, regardless of any other holes I could pick in this idea. BUT that's not to say I don't like the idea, in fact if I had the coin I'd be as close to the front of the cue as possible!

There has been a guy who has done similar to this before, free fall for 7 minutes. Gonna spend the rest of the morning searching for it now.

Id say the majority of people who could afford it would never have the balls to do it!
Would be piss funny to watch peoples reactions on decent.

Brown trouser time for all I'd imagine!

Bit of a difference with shuttle re-entry.

That's going at about 20,000mph, has 10g's and about 3000 degrees of heat.

This attempt is at under a third of the height for shuttle re-entry, so its slower (2500mph and 4g's) and only 400ish degrees of heat.
only 400ish degrees of heat.
Not disputing what you've said, but ONLY 400 degrees!!!

Anyway here's the link to the guy who did a massive free fall from space. ONLY 31kms above the surface of the earth. He was the first person to break the speed of sound WITHOUT an airplane.

And a smaller version

It is always Richard Branson's idea and creation to get out of this planet, eg moon exploration. There is so much to see on this planet.

Well I suppose, once ur at his level of living, Sky is the limit..........
