trucks shouldnt be alowed in the right lane anyways.
every morning i see minimum 5 trucks holding up traffic in the right lane
its not always their fault, I take roe hwy to get to work most days and the amount of times I see trucks and 18 wheelers for that matter having to swerve out the way is amazing.

Most people in perth it would seem just dont know how to drive properly, and are particuarly useless at merging, its a wonder things like this dont happen more often.

I agree with your assesment however, no-one should be in the right lane unless theyre overtaking really, Unfortunately it would seem that is not a violation of any rule in WA.

It is actually, on a road with a speed limit above 80kph, police just done enforce it often.
Also, in peak hour, you cant ask everyone to stay in the left hand lane, theres just too many cars.

As for Roe hwy, I drive on that every day myself, and I find it bad for trucks sitting on the right hand lane for no reason.

another truck bits the dust on the freeway south bound near Reid Hwy, blocking three lanes. That's bullshit, two in three days.
