sitting?!? who wants to sit at a concert?? its not the opera or ballet

heh I actually want to see the band, and dont wanna get tossed about a mosh pit... I opted for seats too... I know it seems soft, but I really don't wanna miss anything! Im sure when I get there and am looking at the violence in the mosh pit, I will be thankful for my choice.

bring it on! I'm in the seated area - but there won't be much sitting I don't think! In the pit would be good, but only if you're up the front, and I don't really feel like putting up with hyper kids bashing each other in the pits!

Linkin Park should be a great concert, they sound huge live... Chester is the shit!!!

But of all the bands I've seen or spoken too... the 2 best were RHCP and Foo Fighters... both of them were easy to talk to and not at all premaddona.... (The Beasty Boys were also very very cool).
The worst was The Prodigy... i nearly ended up in fistycuffs with the tossers (used to be a big fan while i was in the UK and after i got home... then after this i threw everything of thiers out!)

anyway... :) Good to see that we are finally starting to get some good acts here... Imagine how good it will be when we finally get a new bigger statium/venue... then the west can experience a REAL concert atmosphere...

I went to Metallica back in 98 when they came to town and lost my voice for about a week, and threw my neck out for about 2! Awesome show - it was back in the old Perth Entertainment Center.

Saw Foo Fighters and Greenday at Rockit - They were awesome! And some lucky bastard got to get on stage to play guitar with Greenday, and Billy gave him the guitar in the end!

i'm such a concert hore. In the distant future, ive got funeral for a friend, muse, birds of tokyo.

Totally agree on that, Metallica FTMFW!! Speaking of, for all the fans out there in P-Diddy land, they started recording the next studio album on March 16 I think it was.....Realease date late this year/early next year. Here's hoping for a world tour from the boys to coincide the release. Don't care where it is, I"M SO FUKN THERE

Lets hope they've put some effort into this new album. St Anger was a major disappointment. Sounded like they recorded it in a toilet and Lars was hammering away on steel bins! But, in saying that, if they come back to Perth, i'm so there! Missed out on them when they came to Big Day Out and I was kicking myself on the day!

I'd be going to Muse if only I didn't have to work that weekend at the mines. They were good at the BDO in Melbourne this year.

Pissed that Rage tickets sold so quick...I forgot to buy, was thinking of flying over.

Best concerts - Deftones 1998 warped tour (Victoria), Tool 2001 (Melbourne), Tool 2007 (Sydney).

In hindsight should of taken the day off too, although im sure after concert ruby room and casino Friday will just be a blur...

might be working there, so if you guys want some freebies, im sure i can arrange something
